Current project: Chicago Sanitary District Pumping Station
Object: To create a temporary bypass of existing 48” sewer line for pumping station installation. This pipe must remain intact for future use after project is complete.

Americore Concrete Cutters first core holes in pipe for future removal of 4’ x 3’ piece.

The piece is then chained and the perimeter is saw cut. The objective of this job is not to allow any debris to fall into the live line being cut into.

The piece is completely cut and lifted out of the hole.

The water level is flowing at a high rate and is now ready for the projected bypass. Americore Concrete Cutters job is now complete.
